Wine spirit

Arany Kapu Zrt is Hungary's largest wine distiller. The capacity for distilling and refining 1,000 hl of wine per day is suitable for making high-quality wine spirits, which are sold fresh or after aging in oak barrels for brandy production. Among our customers, in addition to domestic and EU spirits producers, there are a significant number of brandy production plants operating in third countries."

Wine distillate

From a part of the wines purchased for distillation, we make wine distillate, which is usually a product refined to a higher alcohol level than wine spirit, but at the same time, the taste and aroma characteristic of the raw material can be discovered in it. This product is used in brandy production to create a uniform character for brandy products.

Brandy

Arany Kapu Zrt. makes its own brandy from its wine spirits aged in oak barrels according to traditional recipes. It sells in bulk or in bottled form according to the customers' needs.

Grape marc spirit (Törkölypálinka)

In terms of quantity, it is the second-ranked product after wine spirit. Our selection includes a variety of spirits, from the characteristic, strong, traditional grape marc spirit to the repeatedly refined, elegant, grappa-like drink. We deal with the separate treatment of different types of grape marc (Muscat, Aszú, etc.), and the production of grape marc spirits from unique production sites, which are particularly popular among our customers.

Apricot spirit (Barackpálinka)

The largest apricot plantations in the Hungarian Great Plain can be found in our area. The most common indigenous variety is the Hungarian apricot (magyar kajszi), which is an excellent raw material for pálinka due to its outstanding aroma, taste and flavor. Our apricot distillate, which is sought after both abroad and domestically, is largely made from this variety.

Pear spirit (Körtepálinka)

On the domestic markets, apricot and pear pálinka are the two of most popular spirits. Most of our pear spirit is made with a unique process from Kiffer pears, which are common in our area and which have a discreet smell and an elegant aroma.

Plum spirit (Szilvapálinka)

The fruit from the lowland plum plantations differs in aroma and flavor from the fruits from the classic Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county. We recommend our plum spirits to consumers who prefer a delicate, less loud taste and aroma.

Apple spirit (Almapálinka)

Every year, we produce a significant amount of apple spirit from several varieties of apples. The restrained, but at the same time, characteristic apple taste of pálinka can be a real value for lovers of elegant, more neutral drinks.

Blended fruit spirit (Vegyesgyümölcs pálinka)

Our spirits made from various fruits have one thing in common: delicious fruitiness and fine harmony.
